Up to 250 MB on desktop and 150 MB on phones and tablets. Since processing happens on your device, shorter clips are faster. Trim first if a video is long.

An animated GIF, an MP4 video (in recent Chrome, Edge, and Safari), or a WebM video (in most Chrome, Edge, and Firefox versions). The Size tool has presets for Discord, Twitter/X, WhatsApp, Reddit, and Slack, square emoji presets for Discord, Slack, and Twitch, and a custom target size.

Open the Size tool and pick a platform preset or a target size. Lowering the resolution, trimming frames, or cropping helps the most. A GIF’s size grows with its width × height × frame count.

Yes. Paste up to 20 links into the box on the home page, one per line. They combine into one timeline in the order you listed them. If some links fail, the rest still load and you’ll see which were skipped.

Many websites block other sites from fetching their files directly (a browser security rule called CORS). If a link fails, download the file and upload it instead. Also make sure it points at the file itself: right-click the GIF and choose “Copy image address” rather than copying the page URL.

Yes. Use the undo/redo buttons in the top bar or press Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z (⌘Z / ⌘⇧Z on Mac). “Reset” goes back to your original upload.

No. Your project only lives in the open tab, which is part of what keeps it private. Export before closing.

Yes. The editor adapts to small screens with a bottom tool bar. Older phones may be slower with long, high-resolution videos.

A2ZGIF doesn’t claim any rights to your output. Whether you can use it depends on the rights to the source material you started with.
